Inefficient, dysfunctional Discovery Bank clearly doesn't need my business!!

I have seriously tried joining the bank since mid last year without success. I have downloaded the app and sent everything asked for and after more than two weeks of calling 3 tines a day and getting nowhere, the app says "In progress" and no one seems to know why. They have call centres to block you and you never get to talk to anyone who is able to help and they make weak attempts to call back when the calls are (frequently) dropped.
