incorrect balance on credit profile

i have been working really well with discovery for the past year but its seems things aren't going as planned. I app**** for a discovery credit card to help improve my credit record. this past month they have submitted incorrect balances on my credit profile, i have called countless times but i am told that discovery does not honor the statement balances on their clients statements but instead they report the information at anytime they feel the need to, so basically clients cant maintain a good credit rating. i try keep my balance low before my statement circle closes to avoid having a high credit utilization but that doesn't seem to matter any longer, not with discovery bank. the whole point was to improve my record , now i feel no need to do business with discovery any longer because whats the point?
