Incompetence and poor communication between Discovery and it's service providers

Second issue in the same day with Discovery. I have app**** and recieved my Discovery Credit Card as per the recommendations for discounts from my unauthorised cancelled Vitality Membership. I recieved the card via CCD courier and provided an original copy of my ID and proof of address. I made photocopied and witnessed the delivery man taking scans/pictures of the documents. He confirmed acceptance and then handed over my credit card. I have since activated and utilised.

However I just recieved an email from Fnb on 8 November requesting for submission of proof of address which was claimed to be outstanding. The subsequent email was the termination of my card which is not acknowledged by Discovery who still seem to send me communication regarding the card.

I am confused as to why my original documents were not accepted and why I am being inconvenienced to resubmit when there is extreme incompetence from the parties involved. Now I am currently travelling overseas and have no funds available via my card. In addition I am now not able to book early concert tickets which indicates another missed opportunity.

FNB has advised that they are no longer affiliated with Discovery and cannot assist hence my escalation to you. I have sent an email to FNB and copied in Discovery for reference.

Hi As indicated to FNB I am travelling overseas until 19 November. Am happy to sent through proof of address when I am back. Note that I had no contact from any courier and that the email from FNB clearly stated lack of provision of proof of address with infighting noted between FNB and CCD courier regarding why I was provided with my card. This is upsetting as I provided the required information and it is now my problem that the person who collected didn't scan it properly. Looks like he lost the photocopy (which was in colour) that was also provided. I will send through proof of payment next week as requested but note my unhappiness with FNB and the communication regarding their affiliation with your company. As my primary bank I need them to confirm that they are mistaken and affiliated with you as I am now concerned regarding the validity of your service which is linked to to banking account.
