How the heck do I close a Discovery Card if they keep ignoring my request?!
I have tried multiple times to close my Discovery card, I’ve called, sent emails, filled in the form that they sent me, emailed it twice (and received confirmation that the form was received), with details and permission for the outstanding balance to be taken off my account in order to close the account (as per the form) and all I keep getting is more debit orders foe a credit card I no longer want and a notification that my card has been transferred to Discovery Bank. How the heck do you cancel a Discovery Credit Card?!

I’m confused as to why I still have an outstanding balance and a payment of R100 due this month. Please can I kindly ask that this now be resolved. Kindly send me a email to *** with the full history of this complaint as I plan to lodge this with the ombudsman. I think the amount of effort I have spent trying in desperation to close this account has now surpassed ridiculous.
Discovery Bank: As at 06 Sep, your credit card account statement balance is R1825.02. A minimum payment of R100.00 is due by 30 Sep.
