How about a call to let me know
I've just had the frustrating experience of going to the shop and having my card transaction declined. Hour of my life wasted. Call the discovery/fnb call centre and was told I haven't submitted my documents for FICA. Was told I was sent an SMS notifying me of the requirement - ask when: don't know, doesn't show on the system. Check SMSs on my phone from FNB or Discovery - nothing related to FICA either. <br> <br> Assuming the SMS was sent and assuming it was received/read by me, despite the above - I'm a platinum card holder, you charge me a fair amount of money for the account and make significantly more out of the transactions I do on your card. A simple call would have been in order a week before deadline to say: \Sir, you have a problem, you need submit FICA docs\"<br> <br> I have submitted the documents to the relevant email addresses as instructed by your call center, but was told it will take about 24 hours. I want someone to call me to get this rectified by 10h00 on Friday 12 Feb, because I need to have card working by 11h00"
