Hiding info, being dishonest, and unwilling to own up about it...
They moved my Discoverycard Credit Card from FNB over to Discoverybank - fair enough. What I don't appreciate is that they then claim that "nothing's changed" - yet where my wife used to be able to also get for example the Healthyfood benefits when paying with her secondary card that is linked to my account - she now doesn't... so no Discovery, it's clearly not the same - it's just being openly dishonest about your product. I've also asked numerous of the "managers" to please get back to me on this, but obviously they don't. They also claim that their platform is so convenient that instead of employing enough staff to answer a call - they try and revert you to their website - which very clearly hides much more info that they don't want the public to know about the ins and outs of their product... really think Discovery is busy going downhill very fast - all of their "innovation and simplifying" ends up being the exact opposite of what they try and claim it to be...
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Let's be honest - "We receive an influx of messages via our social media platform (public and private platforms), and do our best to attend to each one as soon as we can" - is simply another way of explaining that clearly DiscoveryBank is in fact so understaffed that they simply cannot provide an adequate level of service, right?
Regarding "I noticed that someone from our banking rewards support team has since been in contact with your regarding the above." - please note that it wasn't a case of them getting in contact with me - I had to call your useless call centre tens of times - and spoke to various "team leaders" including Vashnie Pillay, Arshaad Toffie, Nhlanhla Ndlovu etc - all of whom promised to resolve my query - which were in fact only basic questions regarding the product Discovery in fact are/were trying to sell to me - which they themselves, even being "team leaders" didn't know the answers to - yet not one of them have since gotten back in contact with me - and that is even after I forwarded them for example this public Hello Peter complaint - i.e. DiscoveryBank just isn't busy leaving a very good/professional impression - in fact rather the worst one imaginable... so yes there have since been contact - but that just added to my frustration - especially that since I also became aware that you are *****ulantly busy advertising discounts etc on your website - based on actual data that people enter on the "Vitality Money Status" calculator - on which people won't be able to receive the same amounts of cashback etc that Discoverybank are claiming people will - so no - my query is definitely not "done and dusted" - it's actually just snowballed into a much bigger one - one that I don't intend to just leave...
Looking for ward to hearing from you - or not - either way I'll make sure that the word on Discovery's ethics get out in a big way...
All of the best, you'll need it...
