Frustrating to Cancel account

I have requested to have my account closed a week ago and to date nobody has contacted me for the settlement to close out the account. I have since tried to call twice, but every time I get transferred to the cancellations I get put on hold for more than 20. I have also clicked the "call be back" on the banking website and still no reply.
