False advertising to get you to sign up

Discovery bank sent me the following SMS during my sign up process: "Discovery Bank: Easily upload your documents in the app to start enjoying your suite's benefits and get 5,000 Discovery Miles. For more info, call ***"

This persuaded me to continue with my sign up process with Discovery Bank on their platinum suite. However, now that I'm a client with them, they don't seem to have any recollection of this. Support is unable to assist, promising escalations and callbacks, which does not happen. In this SMS there was no campaign or T&Cs linked to it, simple just upload and get the miles in the app.

This is false advertising, and just a scheme to get you to sign up with them. They have no intention of honoring this.
