**** Friend Referral
My husband opened an account with Discovery he send me a friend referral code so that I can open an account as well and I send my mother in law with the promise we will get 5000 Discovery Miles. Signed up and everything. Now when we called in it says the account we chose is not liable to get the 5000 Discovery Miles. But that wasn't communicated. Discovery are ***** and is doing false advertising.

For miles to be earned they are certain requirements that needs to be meet new clients who join Discovery Bank with a qualifying bank account and meet the qualifying requirements will qualify for these Discovery Miles. If a new client joins using a referral code that meets the above requirements, whereas for a new client joining without a referral code it will remain as is. Discovery Miles payout that existing Discovery Bank clients can qualify for. A Discovery Bank client with either a Discovery Bank Suite Discovery Bank Credit Card Account, Discovery Bank Transaction Account on the bundled fee or pay-as-you-transact (PAYT) option who successfully refers someone to join the bank will qualify for these Discovery Miles. If a Discovery Bank client starts the onboarding process before the 1st of November 2021 and signs up with a Transaction Account on the bundled fee option, we will honor the client with 1,500 Welcome Miles if they meet the previous campaign requirements of making a qualifying transaction within 60 days of joining and the account is in good standing (has a positive balance) immediately after the first billing has taken place.
