Extremely Disappointed

I rarely write reviews, but my recent experience with Discovery Bank has left me very frustrated and disappointed.

I made a deposit into a fixed deposit account with the understanding that while early withdrawals come with a penalty (which I accept), I would still have access to my money if needed. Due to an urgent personal matter, I requested an early withdrawal, that’s when everything started to go wrong.

I have been calling the bank every day for the past five days. Each time I’m told the same thing: "You will have access to your funds within 48 hours." It has now been well over that time and I still do not have access to my money.

This experience has honestly made this the worst banking experience I've ever had. I trusted Discovery Bank with my money, but when I needed access to it most they failed me. The lack of urgency the repeated and inaccurate responses, and the inability to release my own funds is not only unacceptable ( it's distressing)

Banks are supposed to provide reliable access and support especially in times of need. Unfortunately Discovery Bank has been the opposite.

I sincerely hope this review helps others think twice before trusting Discovery Bank with their hard earned money. Transparency, communication and accessibility are the bare minimum and right now, this bank isn’t meeting that.
