Eish shocking
I usually have a debit order set for the 1st of every month for my RCF. What i have done for months, is pay extra into my credit card then have a debit order on my credit card to move the funds to my RCF. The last 2 months, on the 25 th of each month I get a notification saying my account is locked due to non payment on my RCF. This month alone I paid 6k into my credit card with the expectation that the debit order will run on the 1st for my RCF payment. When calling your collections team I was notified you had a change in your system 2 months ago and going forward I will have to manually move the funds. Great problem solved, however my account still has a lock on it and I cannot move anything into it. I have contacted multiple times and keep getting told I must go to collections. When i do they say they will remove the lock in 30 to 60 min. Now my credit score will be affected by your businesses sudden change in the way you collect from me. I am still waiting for a call back which I submitted at 7 am this morning already.

Thank you so much for your patience.
I can confirm that the lock has been removed by our Collections team. To avoid future credit locks, please ensure that payments are made by the due date indicated on your previous month's statement. If you're making a payment from a different account, we recommend that it reflects on or before the due date, and that the amount paid is equal to or greater than the amount due.

Mpho

Thank you for confirming.
There were sufficient funds for the debit order linked to your revolving credit facility, and it should not have been rejected—assuming the debit order was processed.
I’ve logged an enquiry with our operations team to investigate whether there’s an issue affecting the debit order on your facility. I’ll keep you updated and get back to you as soon as I receive feedback.
