Earn Discovery Miles is Marketing ****

I joined Discovery Card (platinum) after Discovery repeatedly punted how you could earn Discovery Miles. I then stopped using Standard Bank and ignored their UCount rewards program because I was sold on how you could earn the miles at Discovery. I have only used my Discovery Platinum card in the last 6 months and have spent over R230 000! I had been hoping to save for a TV using my miles due to the extraordinary amount of money I spent. When I contacted Discovery they told me congratulations you have R1700 in miles!!! I couldn't believe the slap in the face. If I had used Standard Bank I would have earned many more UCount rewards and got free travel insurance and many other things.<br> <br> How can Discovery look their customer in the eyes and tell them to use their card instead because of the Discovery Miles Rewards Program? Well Discovery, you caught me, I'm extremely insulted and feel you have mis lead me and I will be moving all my expenditure back to Standard Bank. At least they are up front..
