Discovery is one of the most expensive banking options on the market that only seems worthwhile for the benefits they advertise.
I have been banking with them since June this year and up until this point, it was a relatively good experience.
I saw them advertise that you can get 5X Discovery Miles for any iStore purchase provided you use their credit card option. Deal 31 December 2023 on their promo. Black and white writing. So I upgraded my account in November with that process being finalised now in the beginning of December to be able to use this benefit. My fees have gone up quite dramatically.
Only to be told that this benefit expired in November….. when it clearly says 31 DECEMBER 2023.
I am incredibly disappointed. I put my trust in a BLACK AND WHITE offer only to be completely ****med into paying higher fees for zero result. Discovery, if you make a promise then DELIVER. I refuse to be baited in your marketing ploys. This is not the promised client care that you promise…..
You have just lost a customer.
