Discoverycard charging fees to increase credit?
I wanted to increase my credit card limit and in order to do so Discoverycard wish to charge me an additional 'facility' fee of R10 per month for the honour of arranging an increase in ones credit limit? In the normal course of business, a credit card company aims to force higher limits on clients of good standing, certainly not charging you for an increase in limit. This may make sense if it is an overdraft but this is an existing credit card facility! Insane!

We called your cellphone number this morning at approximately 11:35 however we were only able to leave a voice message.
As per our message, there is no fee charged to increase your credit limit on your DiscoveryCard.
There is a monthly credit facility fee (R10) which has been charged on your account since March this year. This fee is applicable to all DiscoveryCard accounts. The fee is part of your card fee which is now levied monthly.
