Discovery says rather lose your life then give ********s your pin

The ********s always win in South Africa and our banking institutions clearly don’t care I matter how hard to try safeguard our apps and pins as required by them. 2023 July 14th I was stopped by what I believed from my rear view to be real Police and followed the law. Only to find it was the blue lights **** police brigade. I was told to co-operate or die. Naturally, I chose life over death. I was then highjacked, kidnapped and kept hostage from around 20h45 and only released at some veld in the Walkerville around 4am. All the while I was kept hostage in some veld. During this period, I was made to transfer funds from my Discovery account to my other banks, my daily limits were withdrawn before and after midnight on Discovery and my other banks accounts. Eventually when I was let go, I immediately informed my tracking company and also headed to SAPS to open case.

When lodging my claim of loss with Discovery Bank, I was asked to provide all required info that can assist in their investigation. I gave them, SAPS case nbr, my tracker report, enatis update showing my vehicle has been highjacked “mind you to date my vehicle has never been recovered “Mercedes C63 ref KW97LHGP”.

Discovery has declined my request for a refund siting “I should have done all to protect the integrity of my account” in short Discovery Bank is saying to me, I should have refused to hand over my App Pin and bank card pins including my cellphone to the highjackers and risked being shot, killed and left in a veld and leave my kids to fend for themselves since I’m a single parent since my wife passed away 2022?

I’ve been banking with Discovery since 2019 and on a thumbsuck, have probably transacted over a R1.5mil with them and even at a point was their medical aid member for years and they are declining a simple clear cut ******** case that’s less then 50k in total given I’m only claiming for funds drawn from discovery and the rest being claimed from other banks the ********s transferred and paid to clear in my name?
