Discovery really disappointed me today.

I really wanted to move my salary to discovery bank because my mother has a life policy with them and we love their service but after what happened today i'm having second thoughts.

I app**** for a credit card with discovery bank and I was granted R15000 credit limit with a monthly installment of R400 I disputed the limit to be increased to R90000, because i can afford to pay R3000 for the credit card without putting an strain on my finances when it came back the review was declined even the first credit approval. I guess the person who did the review hates me.

I earn R39200 gross with a net of R31394 reflecting on my 3 months bank statement plus monthly withdrawals from my company DS Holdings Group summing up to R35000 which also appears on my bank statement and my monthly commitments are only R10000 on my ITC. I haven't missed even one payment the entire year surely it shows how committed i am to my monthly payment commitments.

I have disputed the outcome and have attached my bank statement reflecting withdrawals and my salary and my company bank statement showing all the income and withdrawals to my personal RMB. I plead with discovery to take a fair decision and grant me a credit facility i deserve. Surely i'm looking to pay R3000 per month for my credit card with discovery and with atleast R80000 credit limit.

My complain is i was granted R15000 credit and when i dispute for an increase to R90000 my first credit approval of R15000 is cancelled and review is then declined.

Looking forward to banking with discovery as i'm moving my salary to discovery bank. Hope to have a wonderful service.
