DISCOVERY IS A **** NOT A BANK!

Discovery contacted me in end October offering me a credit card. Going through the whole application process the consultant confirmed that someone would contact me the following week and confirm what the credit limit is that has been approved in the mean time I still had to download the app and complete the process in order for them to finalise the application. Next thing the card gets delivered and to date no one has contacted me and discussed ANY credit limit yet. However the credit limit reflecting on the app shows as R750.00 WHAT this is actually just ridiculous, but so convenient for Discovery handing out R750 credit cards left right and centre but then charging monthly account fees and services for R250. I immediately contacted them and cancelled the card however i had to pay the fees before the account gets closed. I refused and the call centre assisted me and said that the fees would be reversed. We are now going on 3 months and this is negatively affecting my credit score. They are quick to send emails and phone calls for payment but they are not resolving the issue at hand. This was a total **** and Discovery should look into the consultant that did the initial transaction
