Discovery Debit order dates and Collections irritations
I have a Discovery credit card and despite spending a ridiculous amount of time trying to get them to deduct the debit order on the correct day of the month they consistently still deduct the debit order days before the date we agreed on. Despit getting a confirmation email from them that this has been updated they still seem to think that my salary will miraculously appear in my account days before the agreed debit order date. This obviously means that every month i get a multitude of irritating phone calls asking when they can put through the debit order again. After asking them numerous times, multiple times a day, everyday to get them to sort the issue, escalate it and fix the problem. 5 Months later we still dont have the problem fixed and i still get multiple phone calls a day. The challenge is that i pay and next month i sit with the irritating calls everyday again due to their incompetence. So Discovery, if you have any sense of customer service left, read my notes, fix the problem and I will willingly pay what is outstanding. Until that point I am over your incompetence and lack of customer care. What is the point of making notes on the profile if you dont read and fix the problem? My apologies to the staff who do their job and have to deal with the venting.
This is not great to hear and we will look into this for you. We do apologize for the frustration that has been caused.
We will return with feedback as soon as possible.
Kind regards,
Tyrone
