Discovery Card drags CLOSURE of account to drain charges from you.

I have completed the account closure application on the 5th March 2019 to have my account closed and paid the closing balance as suggested by them. One month later account not closed apparently due to protector plan. Charges again accrue. I paid another settlement. Protector apparently closed on 1May2019. More charges and more protector fees. To date still NO CLOSURE and no response except telling me they need to close PROTECTOR. I even asked for another settlement.
