Discovery Card de*****ing clients with interest charged

I have been a client of discovery card for over 10 years and I have paid my credit card religiously with a knowledge that If I do not settle my account withing 55days interest will be charged.

On the 20 March 2019,I paid the full credit facility amount to avoid any interest being paid.On the 20 March 2019,discovery owed me R376.84 as per their statement. However, on the 19th April I was charged R 352.59 interest, which contradicts their claims of offering their clients 55 days interest free.

I have written discovery card an email, and the only thing they could do was a lecture me about how to avoid paying interest and not interrogating my query.

I want my money back.Discovery card ,you have charged me incorrectly based on the premis that when I took the credit card with your instituton,I took it on the bases that I will receive 55 interest free period and I understand how that works as I have been using your facility for the past 10 years.

Good afternoon.I cleared my account on the 20th March 2019 and Discovery owed me R376.84 as at 20th March 2019. Your conclusion is incorrect as the payment I made in full on the 20th March ,clears my account and that restarts anew billing cycle as I do not have any debt with discovery card. That is what I was told by your consultants some years ago when I was querring billing cycle. DO YOUR MATH,"The next statement then opened on 25 February 2019 and transactions were processed on the account. This statement closed on 26 March 2019 on a balance owing of R4 331.45",I paid R16000,which is my limit on the 20 March 2019 and that happens to be in the said period(25 feb - 26 March).By the way,the cycle stated above is not 55 days as you have made us to believe but 31 days instead. With all due respect ,it seems as if your investigator's logic is flawed. If this is not settled, you leave me no choice than to report discovery to the regulators.
