Discovery Card changed the rules without telling

I bought an iPad at the iStore in Fourways on 21 October - I spent R 8,198 and was told by the consultant in the store that they were a Discovery partner. I received my statement to find out that I did not get my cash back reward. When querying this with Discovery they say that they are no longer iStore partners. I queried it with the store and they claim that they did not they weren't partners anymore - and Discovery did not communicate this with me either now so I am R 984.00 out of pocket. If they had told me then I would have gone to Incredible Connection where I would have got the same item at the same price and R 984.00 cash back. ******, ***** and *******!!! Don't trust hem and don't believe anything they tell you - rather sign up with EBucks or UCount or some other company that actually honours their commitments. Disgusted!

Hello DaveH,

Thank you for your comments and for bringing this matter to our attention.

We really empathise with your situation and that the store should have advised you correctly.

We can confirm that we sent all our cardholders a news letter on 25 February 2013 advising of our new partners. This letter was sent to you as well.

We also added an insert in your monthly statement, dated 10 January 2013, confirming that we launched new partners and direct our cardholders to our website.
