Discovery card, cannot cancel my card

After 7 calls, yes 7. To the most notably inefficent individuals, a mention must go to Karabo (call reference number: ***) and Mina. I cancelled my card, having sent the forms on 7 April 2020. I called mid April and settled the outstanding R63 odd amount, to which you charged interest on?

Then i had to resend the cancellation forms 21 April 2020. I then phoned April 30 2020, just to make sure they cancelled, and spoke to a very disinterested Karabo, see above.

Come 4 May, i was of course charged service fees, and my account was not closed. I spoke to an equally apathetic Mina, who forgot to call me back and look into my issue.

There is zero value in your card, 'rewards' and service, hence my reason to exit and reason having moved medical aid and very shortly, house insurance.

If you are looking for a limited rewards program with terrible call center music (one must be on hold for a long time, so this is a factor) then i advise the discovery card...
