Discovery Card and FNB is not protecting their client from *****

On 17 April 2016, at 10:45 I read an article via the CNN Website of an advertising company in Cape Town which is running a promotion for Apple by giving away 2000 iPhone 6s cellphones. All you have to do was to apply online and pay R 1.00 which I did providing my Discovery (FNB) Credit card details. The next moment at 10:51 I received a notification from Discovery that they have reserved an amount of R 4321.61 for the company Huajinzi Trading Co. I immediately phoned Discovery and explained to them what happened and that they must immediately reversed the payment, they transferred my call to their ***** section which I later discovered was in fact FNB. I explained to them as well and requested them to reverse the payment. They advised me that they will immediately cancel my credit card and issue me with a new one and send me a dispute form which I must complete and return to them. In email communication thereafter with Discovery I was informed that their ***** division has advised them that they could not reverse the payment because I provided my credit card details to the supplier and therefore they don’t recognised it as *****. I informed Discovery that is strange because they have just reversed another payment of mine to Netflix that was wrongly debited : DiscoveryCard: REVERSAL of R129.90 for goods purchased from card a/c..161000 using card..1042. 21Apr 10:06 On 25 April 2016 I received a final answer from FNB informing me that they are unable to assist me due to the fact that “...the debit agreement is between you and the supplier…, and that I must ...contact the supplier directly in order to cancel the agreement ” I feel: 1. Discovery and FNB could have reversed it immediately after I phoned at 10:51 on 17 April 2016 - they reversed another payment which was wrongly debited. 2. Discovery/FNB is not protecting me as their client - I’m a pensioner and cannot afford this. 3. There is no way I can contact the supplier directly as it is a **** supplier and *********

This is the attitude of Discovery and FNB. One sidedly they claimed: "Thank you for kind patience and understanding."

MR JACO THOMPSON: “I wanted to state it clearly that I have never indicated that I'm patience about this issue AND that I'm understanding. In fact, I cannot understand that Discovery/FNB paid out an amount to a ******* (which you were aware of) that I've not agreed to.”
Further more THE AMOUNT OF THE TRANSACTION WAS NOT INCLUDED/INDICATED in the OTP sent through (the OTP didn’t show the specific ******* amount of R 4321.61 which Discovery/FNB paid the ******* - other bank's OTP’s always include/indicate the amount of the transaction.

I have joint the group of Dr Klatzow in his class action.
