Discovery Card

I have been trying to close my credit card with discovery card. This should be a very straight forward process yet after 3 phone calls and about 35 minutes waiting and various promises to contact me to close the account I am yet to get any decent service. Very quick to open the account but now that I am trying to close it I am getting the silent treatment.
