Discovery Bank wont close my Credit Card

I have on numerous times reached out to Discovery Bank to attempt to close my credit card. The Credit Card was paid off fully on the 25th of May 2020, where I made my first attempt at closing my account, and now a full week later, no one has given me feedback on this and the account is now incurring costs, which I feel is ********* since I have made means to close this account with ample time.
