Discovery Bank - What a waste of time!

I had Discovery Bank try and sell me a credit card and told me how excited I was to be prequalified. I started a new job 2 months ago and get paid in Pounds Sterling. I submitted all my statements - statement of my British account, My FNB bank accounts, My TymeBank accounts and my Paypal accounts. I also submitted my employment contract. My credit record according to Experian is good (though I have no credit except for a paid up clothing account). Yet after all that they declined my card. What a waste of time. The guy said that it was because they couldn't reconcile, even though I gave them the entire trail and showed them that I have over R30000 in my account. Honestly I think its down to laziness to try and work it out, and if Discovery Bank wanted me as a client, they would have made it work. I mean, I earn a fantastic salary! Perhaps it was because I declined the upsells - medical aid and life cover. I don't need a card, I only wanted to take their offer so that I could build my credit record. But now I wouldn't touch Discovery Bank with a crowbar.
