Discovery bank no assistance

Discovery Banki is really horrible, they false advertise. I met a sales consultant who advertises the card and l Was told the charges were free, and l was assisted to apply for the card. When the card arrived the were instructions to activate the card. After l activated the card a consultant to give me further information and told me the charges were R100 per month, immediately l asked the consultant to cancel the card to which he agreed. Months later l found out that the card was still active and the were deductions on the card. I have been calling Discovery since last year to help me cancel The card and the told me to pay for charges. I told them that the consultant said they would cancel. I'm annoyed because I have benlen sent pillar to post with no assistance. All the calls l had l was told they were recorded but surprisingly they can't find this particular recording. I didn't choose the R100 option as I am a student l can't afford it now all being forced to pay for something l didn't agree to
