Discovery Bank milking money from people

A while ago an account was opened for me by a broker at Discovery. Little did I know that they have opened a credit card as well. Weeks later, without using the credit card, I noted that there were charges on the account, when I had followed up with discovery, they told me that those were made out of the charges incurred. 3 months later I owed Discovery bank +R1300 after making contact with them requesting that this amount be reduced or written off. To date, I have finally paid the money off the money however the consultants are refusing to close off the account because Discovery must still charge me. I have requested to speak to the executive, the consultants are refusing for me to engage with the consultants, saying that I will need to be changed for that.

Im seeking for help as I feel that this is not fair and that with this, I will never be able to close this account.
