Discovery Bank Forcing their Credit Card on me

A few weeks ago after a struggle to close my credit card account with Discovery it was finally closed. It was such relief because i still believe they made a simple process complicated. Now here is what i am now angry with. Discovery Bank have decided to reopen my credit card without my approval, i have suddenly realised i now have a new credit card with the same limit as the closed card. I called their call centre this morning and after holding on for 10 minutes i was basically told i will have to go through the same process that i went through to close my old account. I never reapp**** for a credit card!!! Why are you opening one for me...i dont want. I dont want to pay your exhorbitant bank charges please...can you close it urgently!!!
