Discovery Bank are you really in financial trouble?

A small amount of just over R1000.00 was paid into my account by Amazon three days ago. It was ‘shown’ in my account the same day, however as is the normal situation for any bank in the country it would have been credited to my account that same day. However after three days it is still “in limbo” and has not been credited to my card as yet. The answer I get from customer care is that it can take between 3-7 days to be credited. I must admire Discovery, I have seldom heard such an asinine, ludicrous excuse. If this is happening to me, it would seem to be very likely it is happening to a plethora of other clients. I wonder who will get the interest on the monies they hold!
