Discovery bank a **** to get your vitality points

Last month , they onboarded me to discovery bank , I was extremely hesitate as i didnt want additional expenses . I asked if there will be any penalties to cancel this account and i was told none. I since realized that i dnt need this account and will be paying a monthly fee for an account i dont use. I called today to request for cancellation and i was now told i will forfeit my vitality points when i cancel and i will have to use all my point in less than 8 days. These points were received through vitality and not through discovery bank. They pulled them from my vitality account. I think this is a **** by discovery Bank to hold us in captive and pay monthly fee to have vitality points. I dont understand how the discovery bank is linked to my vitality account . I asked to speak to a manager however i was on hold for a while. I feel cheated and ****med.
