When Discovery bank mover over from Discovery Medical aid to start their new bank, I immediately tried to close my account that was in credit. After many e-mails and telephone calls, it's still not closed as requested. Now it went into overdraft and they want to charge me interest. Shame on you!!!!!!!!!!!! Not at all a behavioral bank as advertised. BAD!!!

I now received a statement where I owe you money?????
I say again:

Please reverse these costs off my account and CLOSE THIS ACCOUNT AS REQUESTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started asking for this account to be closed since the 9th of July!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do NOT make any more deductions from my FNB account, AS YOU DO NOT HAVE MY PERMISSION TO DO SO!!! I will reverse all payments every month until this is done.
I don't think we want to meet in court when yo charge me for not paying my card THAT I REQUESTED TO BE CLOSED long before you started moving me over to your bank.
Everyone have to look after every cent they have during this pandemic. That is why I closed this account.
Please understand my frustration.

Hi
I just received an e-mail from Discovery Bank stating that my account is now officially closed.
I however logged into my Discovery medical aid website, and it still shows there.
Please remove it from that database as well.
