Discovery Bank

I opened an account with discovery last year and switched my salary,they told me no monthly charges,I then lost my job and called the call centre to close my account in December and nothing happened the account has now accumulated and being told I owe ,about 1 thousand 200 and something that i need to pay before i close my account.i could have saved paying that if they had closed my account earlier,now i have a few rands deposited into the account and they took it,and the slow response you get after days of logging a query, i am very disappointed
