DISCOVERY 0800 079-679 LINE NOT SECURE

This is my third attempt at getting someone from Discovery to talk to me.

The last two reviews, all I got from Discovery were apologies and empty promises.

On 27 November 2024 at about 11 am I had a *****ulent transaction needing approval.

I tried to call ***, which was cancelled twice (I have proof of calls)

Then called 0800 079-679 and spoke for 9 minutes to a person who I assumed worked for Discovery, seeing as I had dialled YOU. Not the other way round.

The person then said she was going to reverse the 26 000, I just needed to approve the reversal. She then also said that there were Vodacom transactions showing, which she reverse, I just need to approve the reversal.

After I hung up the phone, I realised that I had not gotten a reference number, and then I called 011 324-444 again. You would be able to hear the conversation, as you record them. She confirmed that I had not reported *****, and then realised that I had been conned and that your ***number is not secure. (***** case no. ***)

I would like you to share the transcripts with me of those phonecalls, which will prove my innosence. Yet, when I speak to your ***** department, the only way I can get those are with a soepbina.

I’ve already contacted the banking ombud. (***)
