DISAPPOINTING SERVICE FROM DISCOVERY BANK

I am extremely disappointed in Discovery Bank. I app**** for a credit card via the app. All docs were submitted. I received a call back, and the consultant informed that there was a problem verifying my ID. I understood, as I app**** with my married surname instead of my ****en name. I have not yet received my passport and ID from home affairs with my changed surname - and I do not possess a driver's license. I was informed that I should obtain an affidavit from the police station stating my situation as well as my marriage license - which I did. I submitted to their FICA department. After a lot of back and forth, I finally received a call from a Discovery consultant. We had to do telephonic verification, which was successful. Now, for the good part: this particular consultant informed me that my application was successful and that my credit card would be delivered within 2-3 business days. But now for the part that I don't uderstand: even though I was approved, I still received messages saying that I have to submit documents, which I already have. After numerous telephone conversations, not one consultant could give me an answer of what was going on. Today I was informed that my application was unsuccessful. Now my question is this: how can a Discovery consultant inform me that my application was approved and that my card is on its way, and a couple of days later, my application is unsuccessful? I have insisted to get the voice recording of that particular conversation, but I have not yet received any feedback. I am seriously upset about this. Discovery waisted my time, and MY credit score is going to be affected due to their incompetence. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER DISCOVERY BANK.
