DiISCOVERY CREDIT HAS GOT NO URGENCY

I have tried to close my Discovery Credit Card on the 26/08/2019. I received a mail stating i can expect a response within 1 day. The next day i receive another mail stating i will be called within 5 days. Can it be so hard to close a damn card? Pathetic but to charge you monthly fees and service fees it doesnt take 5 days it goes off immediately. I want my card closed today and no longer than today....
