Deliberately avoiding dealing with a case of *****
They're unable to understand the concept of a phone number not being valid as a means of contacting someone. I have an open ***** case and they keep trying to phone an invalid number. They say I should spend a fortune on time and money sorting on hold on the hopes that someone bothers to answer.
I cannot correct the phone number because they refuse to hire competent software engineers.
I cannot complain because the complaints email auto-responds that it's not for complaints.
Those who respond on hello Peter lie blatantly.

28 Nov 2024, 14:40I guarantee that you don't see any complaints team assisting with anything. That would be one of the lies that at least one person in Discovery Bank is telling. No attempt has been made to fix the phone number issue. No attempt has been made to contact me other than to keep calling a number that the people calling know isn't valid. The complaints team doesn't see complaints because the complaint email address reports that it is not for complaints. Phoning is not possible unless the caller is rich in time and money.

28 Nov 2024, 14:42If anyone at Discovery could be bothered, there'd be a working way to set a valid phone number. But it's easier to have customers kept out in the cold than to having a with application that would actually mean having to deal with customers.
