Decline credit for no valid reason

am writing to express my concern regarding the decline of my credit card application despite being pre-approved for a credit limit of R15,000. After submitting all required documents, including three months of bank statements, I was informed that my application was declined due to insufficient disposable income (R6.5).

I would like to highlight that during the application process, I stated my own expenses. However, Discovery added additional expenses for telephone (R766) and life insurance/funeral covers (R766) without my confirmation of these expenses. I believe this impacted the calculation of my disposable income and led to the decline of my application.

According to the National Credit Regulator (NCR) guidelines on affordability assessments, I contest that with my income of R12,000 and considering the expenses as calculated, the decision to decline seems questionable. I request a review of this decision, taking into account the expenses I explicitly stated. I would appreciate it if you could review my application again, considering the points I've raised. Please let me know if any additional information is required from me to facilitate this review.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response
