Credit Facility with Discovery Bank

I have logged a query with Discovery Bank whereby I app**** for an revolving credit facility. I app**** for an amount that was approved. After the approval we had a personal issue whereby we needed more money and I was advised by one of the discovery personnel that I cannot increase the account. I requested the account to be closed to allow me to reapply for the amount required. On the 15 April 2024 I had a telephonic discussion with a discovery employee which closed the account and informed me that it will take up to 8 days for the account to be closed and after that I will be able to reapply for the revolving credit facility. Since the 22 April 2024 I have been phoning everyday as I am not able to reapply for the revolving credit facility and every time I am told that the person will escalate it to there superior or they will escalate it to IT department. On the 29 April 2024 I was told that the contract is still open and that they will close it and that will allow me to reapply. On the 30 April 2024 I received an sms and email that they are closing my credit account. I am so upset as I did not ask for my credit account to be closed. Since this whole thing started I was enquiring about the revolving credit facility not once did I ask anyone to close my credit card account. On the 29 April 2024 I was told by Papi that when an account is closed you can only apply after 3 months. None of the discovery personnel gave me this information. This is unacceptable that Discovery personnel is not providing all the information to there clients.
