Change of contact details

I called to change my email contact details and to get a settlement letter. The settlement letter will only be sent to an email address that I am no longer using. Upon requesting to change my email contact details I was told that I would need to do this on the app, which I no longer have access to. I find it very difficult to believe that I cannot speak to a consultant after being verified to change my contact details.
