CASHBACK Deception

To the best of my knowledge I qualified for a 13% cashback at any of Discovery's retail partners (a percentage displayed boldly on my discovery profile), so I would receive 13% back if I shopped at a retail partner simple enough, however Discovery has devised a system whereby you need to spend exorbitant amounts of money in order for you to get a decent cashback. For example if I spent R10000 at Toys R Us I would assume that I would receive R1300 back (13%), but wait that is not how discovery works the fine print is that I would actually receive R260 back???? Discovery takes your total spend x 20% = in this case R2000. That R2000 now serves as the maximum amount I can receive a cash back for at any retail partner so even if I spend R10000 at 1 store my cashback would be calculated on R2000 not R10000.

Discovery are the masters of fine print T&C's thats why I left their Medical Aid as well.
