Card blocked due to no FICA documentation!?

<p>I received email on 6 March that Discovery needs FICA documentation or else my card will be suspended. I was a bit surprised since my card renewal data is April 2017 when they anyway require FICA docs before they hand over the card, but anyway on 6 MArch, I send the documents. on 8 MArch I received email saying that they received my ID but still need proof of residence. The fact that the two attachments was in the same email seemed not to make a difference. On 9 March I sent the proof of residece again. They acknoledged the email but stated that they still needed proof of residence. After more communication they finally explained that the cannot op en the PDF utilities bill. I took a photo and sent that. Next commuication on 13 March from them. After trying to do an online payment on 14 March, I relised that despite all this, my card was now blocked. I phoned and spoke to Johanna who tried to be very helpful and called back when she discovered that the photo is no clear enough for the FICA department. She offered that I can send again to her email and that she would personally hand in the documents and escalate the issue. I send Johanna the pdf, the photo and a screen shot of the utilities biil on 15 March. This morning I got an email saying that it will take 3 working days to process the documents... so I guess we are now looking at 22 March!!! Meanwhile my new card was delivered AND FICA documents takemn by the courier... but STILL CARD BLOCKED!!!? Is there any customer service? If you have a backlog processing FICA information DO NOT BLOCK that cards of people who are trying to provide the information that you need?!</p>
