BEWARE OF DISCOVERY BANK - THERE ARE SO MANY PITFALLS DUE TO THEIR INCOMPETENCE
OMG I AM SO SORRY WE JOINED DISCOVERY BANK. MY WIFE USED TO HAVE POWER OF ATTORNEY OVER OUR DISCOVERY CARD AND NOW THAT WE WERE FORCED TO JOIN DISCOVERY BANK THEY CANNOT GIVE HER POWER OF ATTORNEY. THIS STUPID BANK DOES NOT HAVE THAT FACILITY. NOW I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING WHEREAS BEFORE MY WIFE DID EVERYTHING FOR ME. HOW *********** IS THIS BANK THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE A POWER OF ATTORNEY FACILITY? EACH MONTH WE BECOME MORE AND MORE DISAPPOINTED WITH DISCOVERY BANK.

23 Sept 2021, 14:29No, every time she needs to phone in to ask a simple question they will not speak to her. THey demand that they have to speak to me and I am never around and I work hard and I don''t have time to hold onto phone calls. My wife has also been able to phone in before with our previous discovery cards and even with our discovry medical stuff they let her do veverything as she has signing power, but now we have come to a block where they will not speak to her. she was just asking them one single question which would not have had an effect on anything and they point blank refused to answer. This is unacceptable service. We will certainly be warning all our friends not to join discovery bank as they cannot give their wives signing power and this is how a lot of big business man run their lives. This is shocking. she often needs to phone in to query transactions or log ***** transactions and they point blank will not speak to her. I just cannot handle all this day to day stuff and when she told me she wasnt getting power of attorney as DISCOVERY CARD did not have that facility I was horrified. You are the only bank that does not have this facility.
