Below average customer care and very poor communication.

Discovery Bank is a bank that hides behind procedures and automated systems. A whole bunch of humans standing idly by while waiting for a computer to do their work meanwhile a young couples lives slowly go downhill.

Holding back hundreds of thousands forcing a newly Wed couple to fall further and further into debt, with multiple service providers handing them over to debt collectors, placing them in a situation where one of the two are under debt review and have missed installments with a threat of having the debt review suspended and a rapidly chaotic credit score.

The app says the money is pending. The consultants say they can see the money coming in. The consultant says a supervisor has to accept the payment. The supervisor says the system is automated. They ask that a transaction ID must be produced. Transaction ID gets produced but still no help.

This has been going on for a month.

A formal complaint gets lodged, but no money clears and no correspondence is sent.

1 month of having a Discovery Bank account has reduced our lives to nothing but sadness and having to beg for money that is rightfully ours.

Suffice it to say, we will never have any dealings with this company again nor will we recommend them to anyone.
