being messed around majorly by discovery card

Hi I was contacted by discovery card to upgrade my credit card to the new discovery bank card by using the app but when I tried it on the app it wouldn't let me I contacted them and they said my wife's number is the registered number and she must call but when she did they said no it is my account she has no authorization
