Be careful with Discovery Miles

Sent an application to use R27000 worth of miles for a holiday, told by the broker I would get the Rands back in 4-6 weeks, 3 months later Discovery tell me that because the partner had it as a special offer I couldn't use my miles R27k out of pocket. Sent a complaint that they didn't answer, my broker eventually got a response with some obscure text that they claim covers their position. Surely one can expect that advice would be given prior to the transaction but no, you simply get *****ed after the event, which happens all to regularly with Discovery.
