At my wits end with Discovery Card

I am so tired of always having to beg Discovery Card division for my rewards. I went through to Discovery Card to find out why I did not receive my cash backs for the follow two purchases I made at Nandos and Toys R Us 24 Feb 2018 – Nandos Parktown North – R206.50 21 March 2018 – Toys R Us Woodmead - R199.80

I receive a reply to say they are no longer Discovery Card Partners and they send me a document with all their partners and sure enough both Nandos and Toys R Us are still on the list.

Then not two seconds later I get a newsletter from Discovery Card and once again at the bottle of the newsletter it states that Nandos and Toy's R Us are both still partners.

This can only mean that Discovery Card are ****** and are just not prepared to pay me the rewards that are owing to me,

I work very hard each year to maintain my Diamond Vitality Status so that I can qualify for the "rewards" but every month I have to fight for them. I am starting to feel that it is no longer worth being a member of Vitality as there are no rewards just fights.

Discovery Card moved away from the cash back rewards program towards the end of last year. Instead, our clients benefit from Discovery Miles. You were sent communication in this regard on 3 October 2017.

Bboth Nandos and ToysRUs remain our partners, but with the miles program and not with cash backs.

I have sent you a document which explains the benefit, should you be interested in taking part. You can register for miles on the Discovery website.

I trust that this helps.

Best regards

Ok so basically you are telling me that i have to pay yet another R400 odd rand to get even less than i am already getting correct as i do need the discovery miles. So as a result, please can you advise how i go about closing my Discovery Credit Card as there is no point having something that doesn't have any benefits. i would rather go open a credit card when i do get rewarded for me business.

Thank you so much, i most definitely do as i will get more back from eBucks without having to ensure more expenses. Amazing how they don't have additional fees and hurdles that you need to jump through to get your rewards.
