Almost impossible to reach Discovery Bank

I am sorry to have to write here but it is extremely difficult to reach Discovery bank and it seems like this platform is the only way I am going to get through to Discovery Bank.

I tried calling them today. I had to go through a whole rigmarole of punching in numbers which took about three minutes (which I have to pay for). When I finally get through to a consultant I am advised that she can't hear me but I can hear her load and clear. I know very well that my phone works as I am able to receive and make other phone calls and be heard.

Discovery Bank kindly sort out your telephone lines or let clients have an email address where we can reach you

Thanks for telling me the number is toll free. Does that include cell phones? How do I reach Discovery Bank in future without being told they can't hear me? Does that mean I have to call again and take a chance I might be heard? That is inconveniencing me. Is there an alternative method to reach Discovery Bank? An email address?

Thanks for your kind offer to assist me here but I would rather not discuss my banking affairs with the whole world.

The call is definitely toll-free for calls made from a cellphone. 

Unfortunately, we do not offer any servicing via email but you can contact us either via the contact center, or you can reach out to us on social media.
