Account still not closed 6 months later

I am very dissapointed at the level of service at Discovery bank, I have been trying to close my account since Feb 2020, I sent an account closure form and after several calls from them explaining that I do not need the account it is still not closed and it's 6 months later now they are sending a statement with R500 owing to the ban****
