Absolute Trash Service

Hi,

I have had this account for years, but no-one at Discovery Bank realizes that I haven't received a new credit card for the past 5 years or so. I am no business expert, but that it's a good model.

So, time passes, and I get an sms from MBD. They are debt collectors. Now bear in mind my last statement says everything is good, minimum payment of R149.00, nothing outstanding on the statement. All good.

MBD informs me that I owe R480.00 (which I have already paid), but my statement mentions nothing of this amount. It's probably the debtors fees (again, guessing), but how come Discovery Bank didn't inform me of this? How can it be that I get handed over on the 2nd of the month?

I would rather distance myself from a company that does not even bother to contact me. Even if it is simply for promotional stuff. It just shows that Discovery is only after your money because that fancy rental in Sandton ain't cheap.

I have been waiting 40 minutes for someone to help me cancel my account?
